Introducing PermaFill™

November 16, 2017

Our new PermaFill™ was developed in conjunction with people just like you - homeowners, looking for a way to keep their furniture looking brand new, even when life happens.

How do you use the PermaFill™ system? We will walk you through it - it's easy! You can follow the steps here, or you can check out our how-to video for more information. That can be found here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enfboyRSPUo&feature=youtu.be

Here are step by step instructions on how to use the PermaFill™ tool.

  1. To set up your permafill dispenser flip it over and remove the scraper and finishing tool.
  2. Use a phillip's head screwdriver to install your batteries (batteries are included).
  3.  Flip it back over, open the top
  4.  Load your PermaFill™ cartridge in your desired color (a color that is close to your finish) by pushing the   tip all the way through the end of the gun.
  5.  Press the trigger on the dispenser to advance the ram until it reaches the end of the cartridge.
  6.  Close the top.
  7.  Push the button, you'll see that the indicator light turns red, and when it's ready to use it will turn green.
  8.  If needed, use a staining marker, like Mohawk's Ultra Mark, to color in your repair. You will want to pick a     color as close to your finish as you can.
  9.  Dispense the permafill using your gun.
  10.  Pull the trigger as many times as you need to to fill in the area.
  11.  Once it hardens, you are ready to level it. Just place the scraper tool right over the center of your repair and rub back and forth.
  12. Remove the scotch brite pad and rub it around the area of your repair to remove any wax residue.
  13. Your final step is going to be to use your brush tip graining marker to help mimic the look of the wood or laminate surrounding the repair. Use the marker to try and match the grain of the wood around the repair.
